THOLD-IT becomes Yorizon's first Cloud Solution Partner and offers high-performance cloud services as well as solutions for digital sovereignty.
Focus on digitally sovereign solutions with local cloud services
Berlin, 07 August 2025: Yorizon, a pioneer in sustainable edge-cloud solutions, announces THOLD-IT GmbH as its first Solution Partner. With this partnership, THOLD IT strengthens its service portfolio of high-performance cloud services as well as solutions for digital sovereignty.
As an innovative solution provider, THOLD-IT specializes in Managed Services, IT Security, and the optimization of IT infrastructures with regard to performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. The service portfolio of the Solution Partner from Heiligenhaus (NRW) also includes software development, continuous system hardening against cyberattacks, and business intelligence.
Digital sovereign cloud concept
“With Yorizon, we have a cloud infrastructure partner that enables us to meet, in particular, our customers' requirements for digital sovereignty and resilience,” says Thomas Tyroff, CEO of THOLD-IT GmbH. “The Yorizon cloud services, from the open-source hypervisor to the servers and the 100 percent regenerative energy concept, are from a single source and holistically geared toward independence, performance, and local proximity. This supports our ambition to develop solutions for companies that are both secure and economically viable.”
“Channel-only” strategy
With its first Solution Partner, Yorizon also underlines its strategy of offering its cloud services exclusively indirectly through IT service providers. “We therefore support our partners in the long term in developing scalable, digitally sovereign service packages for their customers and being able to access high-performance resources – for example for AI solutions – at any time,” explains Gernot Hofstetter, Co-CEO of Yorizon. “In addition, through our cloud management portal as well as interfaces (APIs), we ensure that our partners can flexibly integrate the cloud services into their services.”
With locations distributed across Germany, Yorizon also ensures geo-redundancy as well as the possibility of providing cloud services and edge computing via direct data connections independently of public internet lines. “This concept from Yorizon is essential for our Managed Continuity as well as Managed Connectivity services,” Tyroff adds. “This, for example, ensures the seamless control and monitoring of agile manufacturing processes at our customers and minimizes outage risks.”
