Berlin, 03 September 2025: Yorizon, a pioneer in sustainable edge cloud solutions, and MICHAEL AG announce their partnership. The broadly positioned ICT distributor is thus continuing its successful growth trajectory with cloud services. The Yorizon cloud concept is also particularly important here, combining high scalability with digital sovereignty and green IT.

MICHAEL AG is relying on Yorizon cloud infrastructures for its further growth strategy with cloud-based products and services. “As an ICT distributor, it is our aspiration to support our partners in a future-oriented way, including with cloud requirements,” says Oliver Hemann, member of the Executive Board of MICHAEL AG. “This includes cloud products as well as managed services and knowledge transfer. The partnership with Yorizon is therefore a strategic step: their highly scalable cloud infrastructures, together with the flexible open-source platform, provide an ideal basis for a high-performance partner ecosystem with innovative solution offerings.”

Yorizon's cloud infrastructures are geared holistically toward digitally sovereign solutions. Yorizon’s standardized open-source technology stack prevents vendor lock-in; the network of regional edge cloud data centers ensures secure, locally anchored data processing and storage – an aspect that is essential not least for regulated industries, real-time applications, and innovative AI solutions. “An important strategic factor for our partners is also our consistent ‘channel-only’ strategy,” explains Gernot Hofstetter, Co-CEO of Yorizon. “This includes enabling our partners to market cloud solutions under their own brand name through white-label cloud services. In addition to direct system interfaces (APIs), the provision of cloud services is simplified by an intuitive portal for cloud management, which ensures full cost transparency and automated status reports at all times.”

About Yorizon
